i'll be honest, he was on a short list for me when thinking of possible future head coaches for the Hawks, but I didn't know a ton about the guy other than his obvious success at W. Mich and known as a motivator, good recruiter, and high energy guy. As i've now seen a lot of interviews, read some articles, and followed him a little...he started to annoy me even before being a goopher. Now...not a fan. I'm not sure the rah rah will work at this next level, it might, but man if he doesn't win pretty quick, that schtick will wear thin really fast i think....

I think if I was a football player, I'd be praying all the time that me and my teammates wouldn't get hit by a serious injury, or develop CTE.

There are no atheists in foxholes and maybe there shouldn't be any on the gridiron either.
