Iowa vs. Michigan in the BTT (again)

BTN just projected the BTT and has us playing MI for about the tenth time in a row it seems. What are we , 0-5 years against them? I don't see a scenario where we win unless Morris and Hardaway Jr. miss the team bus.

It would be nice to see Iowa win a postseason game. Yes it is a stretch to call the BTT a postseason tourney, but when is the last time we won a game in March? A win would be something to build off for next season, albeit a win in a conference tourney.

I think we will end up playing PSU. I think Michigan beats MSU in Ann Arbor and ends up ahead of PSU. I prefer playing PSU,since we only got them once this year anyway.
I believe we have lost to Michigan in our first game the last three years,and then in the first year of the tourny in 1998 under Mr. Davis,making us at least 0-4 vs Michigan in the tourny. Michigan has been bad for that decade but beat us in the tourny. Iowa has been good in the tourny til Lick came to town...but the wolves have our number in the tourny now. I say pass on them,and play PSU instead.

We had tons of trouble with Sims and Harris. But we seriously have no answer for Hardaway Jr., Morris, and Morgan. I'd rather take my chances against Battle.

I would actually rather take on Michigan. 1. The last game that we played them we lost in overtime and we really should have won it. 2. Since we have played Michigan more than we have played Penn State, we are more familiar with the way they play. The only issue is, can we figure out how to use that knowledge on the court and stop either Hardaway or Morris. 3. They got blown out last night, but something tells me that Battle will be possessed during the Big Ten Tourney and will do about anything to make sure his career at Penn State makes it a few more games.

Michigan is fighting for their tourney life right now. That can go work well, or it could go extremely bad. It's also tough to beat a team 3 times so as a Michigan fan, Iowa is a little scary in that respect.

The standings, I think, will change, I think we play PSU and I prefer that matchup much more. Michigan is really peaking and PSU is bottoming out, after that demoralizing loss last night and I am hoping they loose at Minny, they have nothing to play for, even more so. PSU has a couple shooters, Michigan has about 12, so I prefer PSU. Iowa folded at PSU after having a lead and before they were competing highly on the road. PSU has threats, but if they have nothing to play for it becomes Battle vs. Iowa and I like Iowa in that matchup.
