What happened to "equality"?Growing up in a household with 5 sisters, the better question is "why would they"? It is a slippery slope with no recovery once you step wrongly!

I haven't checked into who's leaving, but, if I had to choose, I'd take Addy Brown over Crooks in a heartbeat. She's gritty, intense and has a warrior mentality. Brown would be a home run addition if she's a culture fit.
Yeah, well, think I will quit while I am behind.......perhaps I should mention that 3 of my sisters were older, so I never really stood much of a chance......What happened to "equality"?
Equality is a myth when it comes to shit women find important.Yeah, well, think I will quit while I am behind.......perhaps I should mention that 3 of my sisters were older, so I never really stood much of a chance......
I think Deal just saw that she had the starting gig and lost it to someone only a year older than her. When you have been the star of the team since you were 8, its hard to see the bench. Jensen and Bluder have had no issues developing and featuring wings and guards. I just think Deal did not think she was getting the minutes she deserved. Too bad, I think she was in line to take Kylie's spot next season. Is what it is. Guards can be found in the portal.Makes me wonder if our emphasis on JJ's post expertise combined with the fact that Ava has emerged as the focal point is one of the reasons for our own recent exodus. The thought occurs to me that Addie came in as the highest rated recruit, well, since CC, and her frosh year was less than memorable. And if Callie had the same agent, it is pretty easy to see how the dominoes might fall in this situation. Just a thought as this portal merry go round plays out.
I can't imagine this year has been any fun for Crooks. She needs a reset. I'd be tempted to find the right fit of a program, and take a redshirt year to fully commit to physical and mental health. Get away from the games and media and go all in on health and conditioning. Like I said, it'd have to be the right fit, and they'd need deep enough pockets to work with her over two years. But I think the payoff for both parties could be pretty good.
The young woman has talent. Her coaches have failed her, not trying to help her get into better shape. Even a moderate change in her body composition would help her. She won't be able to hang in the WNBA, they move up and down the court too fast.I can't imagine this year has been any fun for Crooks. She needs a reset. I'm sure they've tried. The young woman has talent. Her coaches have failed her, not trying to help her get into better shape. Even a moderate change in her body composition would help her. She won't be able to hang in the WNBA, they move up and down the court too fast.
Planets revolve around her. I'll see myself out...That is correct. The person I talked to said the others were mad that everything revolved around her, which hurt them She didn't say if it was performance-wise or money-wise or both.
Not saying they don't. I've just never seen any place where they have them listed, which is why I said I had no idea they posted them. Why wouldn't they?
Listed previously at 250 and now 225 at 6’3”. There’s no way. What is it? I'd guess north of 300. It is funny though weights don't really seem to be a thing in the womens game I never hear em talked about.
I was being a bit of a smartass on "equality". I looked too. Don't see weights on college rosters (checked Iowa and UConn) but they are listed on the WNBA rosters. Not saying they don't. I've just never seen any place where they have them listed, which is why I said I had no idea they posted them.
pffff.... She's bigger then Iowa Dlineman. Yeah there's just no way that's insulting for ISU to put that outListed previously at 250 and now 225 at 6’3”. There’s no way.
I mean, we haven't beaten Iowa State much lately. We beat Nebraska pretty much always. I guess if we are looking at trendlines, things are going well. Nebbie is in a perpetual state of averageness. ISU is trending the wrong way in two major sports. Iowa State is in a freefall financially and cannot even support a girls gymnastic squad. Now we just need NC to back up a Brinks truck and yank TJ out of that shithole.
TJ is the duct tape holding that athletic department together... Could you imagine if he did leave? I don't think he would or their would be more smoke by now. But if he pulled the rug now and pulled a Kiffin it'd be the funniest damn thing ever
That dark side of me would love to see Pretzelburger bail. But I don't think it's gonna happen, at least not yet. Men's bball is the only saving grace of the athletic program right now. He's in a position to call his shots and get what ever he wants from Pollard.Tommy Lloyd is staying at Arizona. Are they waiting on Billy Donovan with really no Bilichek type money to pay him? So there is still a chance.![]()

It has been and with the players they've had, it should've been.I don’t know to be honest about the money but I also don’t think anybody really does.
If they are annoyed at Iowa State women’s basketball being a one woman show… well it’s been that for a decade.
