Just got home from our spring league games. Our CF showed up and hadn't even made it to the bottom of the dugout steps and had already blamed the refs.

Tennessee got called for 6 more fouls than ISU
ISU go out-rebounded 43-22.
Tennessee had 23 rebounds in the 1st half alone.
ISU shot 25 FT's to 15 for Tennessee.
ISU missed 10 FT's in the 2nd half.

He's an all-conference CF/cleanup hitter so I cut him some slack, but still...

I have 2 usernames on CyFan. I started one to try to be the over-enthusiastic fan that thinks ISU is by far the greatest team in the nation in every sport. I couldn't have posted anything stupider. It wasn't much fun, though, because I fit in. My other one was being a ISU fan that is completely clueless and argues with everyone, thinking I'm right. I've been around awhile, but it never ceases to amaze me how clone fans constantly define themselves through and obsess over Iowa.

There have been years where Iowa's team (in whatever sport) wasn't real good and many more in which they were real good. But somehow Iowa always ends up with a great run, huge win, or a feel good story that anyone who loves sport can appreciate.

That just kills clone fans.

The first paragraph is the reason I will never root for them. That and idk how anyone could if they are a die hard hawk.
I have yet to meet or know any isu fan that ever roots for Iowa.
F$$k them and f$$k isu.

I cannot understand it and I promise you I find it probably more annoying than you do. For the most part I literally don’t care what you guys are doing and I have enough Iowa fan friends it was fun to watch that FL game with them.

That may be, but unless we're talking a level of money ISU probably doesn't have, extensions don't mean a lot these days.

And he's already extended till 2032. Campbell could have easily gotten an extension too if he wanted one.

--Iowa beats higher seeded nebraska to go to the E8, complete with the embarrassing FOTF fiasco overseen by none other than an ISU-bred dork who's afraid of cell phones.

--Iowa beats Fatt Rhule and the Fighting Tire Fires by almost 4 touchdowns on Black Friday in lincoln.

--Has there ever been a better year to be a Hawkeye? I can't think of one.
