I don’t think there’s ever been a better week long stretch in Hawkeye history.

I woke up to a six minute voice memo from my best friend (lifelong Hawk, who for some reason got a degree from ClownU a few years back) screaming about how much he hates the clowns clowning every big moment.

He told me at the start of the tournament that their season is a failure if they don’t make the Final Four. I bet most clowns had similar delusions. Headed back to Houston shortly. See y’all in a few hours!

Every year we have to hear about how they are a Final 4 contender…only to watch them spin out in the tournament. To be fair, the Joshua Jefferson injury was huge, but it is still funny that they spun out AGAIN.

The Jefferson injury was big. But I'm not sure they would have won with him healthy. They got CRUSHED on the boards. Rebounds were 43-22 in favor of TN.

What is with them and SEC teams. We beat Florida and Ole Miss earlier in the year. Ole Miss knocked them out last year and Tennessee this year both as 6 seeds. Michigan beat Alabama. Even Nebraska beat Vandy. Get with the program it is what you do as a midwestern team. Why the Big Ten has a regular season thing vs. the SEC so we can learn how to beat them. Why the Clowns will always be the little brother. The thickheaded one that never learns lol.

Though I don't think Fry is a member over there of course. He was just looking over the pages of the meltdown. Can't ban a lurker who doesn't log in.

I've been around awhile, but it never ceases to amaze me how clone fans constantly define themselves through and obsess over Iowa.

There have been years where Iowa's team (in whatever sport) wasn't real good and many more in which they were real good. But somehow Iowa always ends up with a great run, huge win, or a feel good story that anyone who loves sport can appreciate.

That just kills clone fans.

Yeah he wasn't making that big a difference.... That's not something a team can overcome on the scoreboard. TN woulda had to shoot less then 35% from the floor or some shit to make that even possible. But they shot 51% from the field.

ISU shot 39% fg 22% 3pt and 60% from the FT line missing 10 of em they've sucked from the FT line all yr as a team. They had no business winning a game doing all that. They were lucky they kept it within 20 pts frankly
