Iowa getting 11 tonight

I hear ya, but the Hawks have been given a ton of points this year as road dogs. Other than the blowout loss to Purdue this past weekend MSU has been playing alot better as of late(Since Wisky Beatdown). Alot of that has to do with the play of Kalin Lucas.

Iowa also has been playing very well as of late. Other than a bump in the road against Minny and on the road against a desperate Illinois team(Which Cartwright wasn't at full strength) Iowa has been hanging around and in every game in there last 7.

Although Im expecting MSU not to lay down like they did in Iowa City, I still think the Hawks hang around enough to cover, all be it maybe from the back door. If gambling is your thing take the Hawks+11.5, or if your into parlays...Look for a low scoring affair(mid to low 60's, high 50's) and take the under at 130.5

I would love to see the Hawks pull one out at the Breslin Center, but it will be a tall order. Hawks make it interesting, but fall late...65-59
 
Michigan St is still getting spreads like this because the public keeps thinking each game is going to be the one where they finally start playing well. They were a pick em against Purdue on Sunday and still had 60% of the bets coming in on their side.

MSU has been playing much better the last few weeks...til the red-hot Boilers came to town. Lucas looks like his old self again,and that is at the All American level of play,so he alone can carry Sparty tonite.

Bettors know that Iowa never plays well vs Sparty at EL.
Senior Nite? Sparty will be even tougher. Throw in that it is the most important game of the year for them....11 pts seems lite.

Michigan St is 3-10-1 against the spread the last 14 and 1-5-1 against the spread the last seven home games. People who think like you are why the sports books make money.
 
MSU is not a great team as they have been in the past. There are issues, I like the odds giving Iowa 11 when Iowa has been playing well on the road. There will be a little payback on Sparty's mind, but if Iowa just plays within themselves and can find a way to get to MSU's bench, Iowa wins tonight. Can't see Iowa hitting 10 straight shots like the first game, but keep it under 8 going into the last 10:00 of the game, I like Iowa's chances.
 
I would bet that Iowa will need all 11 and probably more. I don't see this game going very well for Iowa whatsoever.
 
I know MSU isn't a great team but Tom Izzo will have this team reminded of their trip to Carver earlier this year and this will spell trouble for the Hawks.

MSU by 20.... I hope I'm wrong.
