I've been saying this for years. The Sally Mason-ites were/are about 30 years behind in their thinking.
- Most people drink, and some heavily, before and during the game... Why not capture that revenue instead of pretending it doesn't exist?
- I've enjoyed beer at the U of Minnesota FB stadium. No big deal. People were not out of control.
- I think people may very well reduce their pre-game chugging, knowing they can get some in the stadium.
- Laughable that the liquor won't be available at the vendors closest to the student section. Who thought that one up?
- Even more laughable is the AD's comments about "enhancing the attendee's experience, etc, blah blah" C'mon man...it's all about dollars.
- The proles finally get their due as the upper-tier fans have always had beer available post remodel.
