This kid sure fits the Iowa mold. Underrecruited for reasons that were out of his control, but able to show case talents behind his initial college choice.

Choosing Iowa over opportunities at Blue Bloods is also a very mature choice. Sure, maybe he gets a little more money somewhere else and has a bigger name on his helmet, but he also has a much tougher path to the field. Sounds like he is going to start at Iowa and be a favorite target. Smart kid. Hope he lives up to the off-season hype.
