I didn't realize IU & OSU play in week 1

Interesting, two Big 10 teams face off in week 1. Has this ever happened before in the league? Would you like to see Iowa do this? I din't think I would because we always seem to start slow and finish strong.

That's a Thursday night game, correct? I can easily check.....kinda cool, but I am with you not sure it would be the greatest thing for Iowa.

Haydon Fry's very first game ever at Iowa and the first game of the 1979 season was against Indiana University.

This was fairly common back before 1980 for 2 Big Ten teams to play the first game of the season.

Colorado State smashed Oregon State this afternoon. New stadium for the Rams. Looks nice, on campus. Be good for them.
