Hawkeyes found to be only NCAA team to have ever contacted player not yet in portal

In 2-3 years, the SEC and the Big10 are going to vote to break away from the NCAA in football. When that happens, Iowa should demand these four games back in exchange for their vote. F the NCAA.
No way. Vacating 4 wins is a small price to pay to get away from the NCAA and put it outta business once and for all.

Let them micromanage golf, diving, and lacrosse from an abandoned Pizza Hut building in Cairo, Illinois.

I guess my point is, when the two big boys finally break away from the NCAA, they can set their own rules and determine their own records. I could see a lot of dumb things that the NCAA did in the past being ignored or overturned by the new football league.

That's an insult to Cairo.
They're trying down there, man. There's people down there trying.

Lol, Cairo. I watched a podcast on that dump of a place once and when traveling down to Florida couple years ago made a point to mosey on thru & lurk around Cairo. Talk about dilapidated! That place was a flourishing city back in the day but just degraded. Buildings are all empty and homes are, again, dilapidated. Sad how that place has just gone downhill so bad & relatively fast.

It's one of those places where an outsider driving thru town gets the looks from the locals. Actually, very eerie feeling.

Are they though? Are they really trying that hard?

I realize there are good people who live down there, but apparently not enough where it makes a difference and where it's worth it for the few to do the battle.

Tell you what, cheap living down there though.
