When my youngest is done with high school basketball and my career as a parent spectator comes to an end, I'm going to check out one of these Saturday afternoon (and well into the early evening) quadrangular round robins. Or a conference meet.
Never been to one but I've heard they're intense as hell. There's no slacking on the mat. Let down your guard for an instant and you can lose a match you should have won.
I've never wrestled, but being the ignorant cuss I am. I would compare the energy and effort of wrestling one full match to running a 5k. Am I far off base?
