Hannah Stuelke

Well done! Had she been less "team oriented" she may have vaulted to 1st team, but we would rather have her feeding Ava. To be honest, her court smarts, passing and assist ability is what will get her drafted as much as her offensive skillset.

Congrats to Ava and Chit-Chat for their honors as well.

And Addie Deal for All-Freshman team! Congrats to her on that one, although I am really surprised that Houston did not get that honor. She has been more impactful throughout the year. Journey did have the luxury of easing into the rotation (not as much was expected right away), which I think has helped her development.

Agree- Houston has been a very pleasant surprise. Addie Deal has had her flashes of glory, no denying that ........

That actually surprised me... I thought if either freshman was going to be recognized it'd have been Houston.... Deal flashed a couple times but she had a lot of games where she didn't do much of anything. I guess her big games trumped Journeys more steady eddie efforts.

Oh well that's not the sort of thing to raise a stink over. Both are going to get higher awards/recognitions than that going forward.

The last 1st team spot went to the freshman Davidson at USC... Feels kinda like had Hannah had a couple more big games and not missed a couple games late maybe she woulda gotten that. Iowa being ahead of them in the standings didn't seem to matter to the voters. Davidson does do a lot for that team though I wouldn't call it a snub to be honest.
In the past FOY wasn't put on the 1st or 2nd teams?

Deal was probably a preseason favorite and that carries the lazy voters.

Our cupboard is certainly Not bare

Journey and Addie will be better next season

Journey could replace Hannah quite nicely

Once Addie gets comfortable with her three it will be Light's Out, Jack

Kylie might be the most difficult one to replace, her D was fun to watch
and we will need to replace that

Taylor and Addie will have to step up there

Layla Hays is getting better as the season goes on and should be a factor next season

It's All Good, Lads

Journey keeps improving her outside jumper and holy smokes she becomes a matchup nightmare.

Addie to me looks like an Azzi Fudd type. Her size and style of play makes me think she needs to watch her tape a ton on learning how to get open and get to her spots. And yeah once she spends an off season working on her J even more the skys the limit for her.

Yeah Kylies gonna be tough to replace for sure. Maybe Levin can play a little more then spot mins next yr.

Hays leap will be very interesting. She needs to get stronger with her legs. She's not confident yet at going up strong inside. She's gotten her shots blocked alot so now she tends to fade away/sideways when going up now. Those make for some tough shot attempts and takes her completely out of the picture for getting her own rebound. I think Jan and the staff will have a lot to work with on getting her where she wants to be but I have faith

Fortunately few staff are better than Iowa's at coaching up post players.

No doubt. I'm confident Hays will improve I'm just not sure how much/how fast. As she does seem to have a ways to go. I gotta say she looked noticeably different in the Wisconsin game then some of the other recent games. That's what you're looking for out of players like her this time of yr is jumps the right direction. That's encouraging

Levin could really help on D, she can be relentless

It looked to me during the WI game that Hays was at least partially emulating Ava's moves. This could be a very good thing when you have a mentor relationship and the mentor is only a sophomore......No doubt Hays has a ways to go, but with Houston in the mix, it is good that the back up has talent to help the team.

Not quite certain where to post this, but why not here

Just wanted to share a Solid Win

I ordered these gems from Amazon at 12:30 today, and they were delivered at 3:00

Cost was $14.97, no shipping charge, there is an Amazon Warehouse about 5 miles away about 5 miles out of town

Those are pretty good, but they're no Gameday Ron razors. IYKYK ;)

I have been using a version of these Sensor 3 blades for years
Those are pretty good, but they're no Gameday Ron razors. IYKYK

They are affordable and give a rather smooth shave

One of them will give me 4/5 shaves

Gonna look Gameday Ron razors up

I only shave once every three days , the Girls/Women at Hy=Vee enjoy the grizzled look

I chat them up and they rub their fingers across my chin with silent approval

It's All Good

Looked up Gameday Ron and gonna give his product a try next time

"His product is twofold. One of the oils protects the blade and allows it to last for much longer than average, and the other oil replaces the normal shaving cream and water.

Dan McGivern, a friend and customer of Christensen’s, said the product extended the life of his two blades for around three years.

“I used those two blades [starting in] October 2009 and just changed them out the first of this year,” he said."

Damn...

No electric razor is gonna come close to my Face, I use the same shaving cream, Barbasol
that my father used in WW II, in the Pacific Theater, he came home to stay after he was wounded the third time, next stop woulda been Iwo Jima

Go Hawks, the last game against Illinois was a Tough One

I know nothing about Gameday Ron's product. He's a guy that was on here many years ago. He was a bit different to say the least, and sold razors that I know nothing about. I think he left here because he said some weird stuff and people trolled him, some of which was called for.

Having said that, going with your post, I have never been able to use anything but electric. I've tried traditional razors but they hurt bad. People have told me to give them a chance, it will get better, but I just couldn't do it.
