Just as I was sending some of these ideas to my kid....he was sending videos of them setting up on the Pentecrest. I guess there's something else going on....a big huge truck and some sort of setup on the street as well promoting Caitlin's shoe drop.

Like I said, go there for 4 years and at some point you will feel like you're at the center of the universe. Even if it only lasts a week.
 
Wonder if the U will allow students to camp out beforehand in order to get better camera seats...

Ohio State is the clearest measure of how fast the market has moved. The Buckeyes won the 2024 national title on a roster reported at about $20 million. The 2025 roster was reported above $30 million even as the athletic director suggested a lower number. The 2026 roster, for the preseason No. 1 team, is reported at $43.5 million, third nationally.

The good news is that the Cheatin' Ganders way out spent our Hawkeyes, and we still beat 'em in their Big House!

Michigan’s reported football roster cost of $32.4 million is 15th nationally, the lowest of the traditional powers on the list, and the money is unusually concentrated in one sophomore. Bryce Underwood, the No. 1 recruit in the 2025 class, is at $3 million, and no other Wolverine is above $2 million.
