Game Day Conduct

Can someone please tell me where on my ticket stub it says..(must be drunk and obnoxious to attend game). I understand having some fun before the game but come on people, had a man fall into to me at my seats who had his children with him. I couldn't even enjoy the game because I was worried about his children. Then I was lucky enough to have announcer guy sitting behind me doing the play by play yelling at the top of his lungs at the players on the field. Worse game day experience at kinnick I have ever had!!!
 
If the guy was falling over drunk, with kids in tow, you should have alerted stadium security. As for the play-by-play guy......deal with it.

If you want to ***** about a drunk guy with kids, fine.

if you want to ***** about a guy that is yelling at the top of his lungs at a football game, you are barking up the wrong tree here.

Well said. I was trying to have a conversation with my seat neighbor and it was pretty much ruined when a bunch of maniacs started yelling at the top of their lungs with about 3 minutes left in the game. Courtesy, people. Learn it.

At least you weren't assaulted. I turned to watch the replay on the big screen after the TD's and held my hands up, you know, to block out the sun, and these people behind me slapped my hands! Drunks.
 
Hey, the song says "Fight Fight Fight for Iowa." Just be glad you walked away from that game without a broken jaw.
 
One must raise one's voice and cheer rah rah rah for the home team, lest the other squad gain an advantage. Now if two such people do this it would be an even greater advantage. And of course if three, so the much more. Now if you can imagine nearly all the spectators present on a particular day, during a particular play raise their voice all at once ! What a wonderful thrill it would be. I say we need to cheer cheer cheer for Iowa...


After such a great outing we should at once ajourn to the parking lot and imbibe in spirits, drink heavily and ballyhoo!

Yeah that was me. My bad. No apologies.
 
So the game was on the line with 3 minutes left, and the Hawkeyes scored 2 TD's to make an improbable comeback....and your experience was ruined because fans were being loud? Sorry but you sound like someone who should be watching the game from your couch instead.

Side story - At the UNI game a girl was walking up towards the tunnel and puked all over the stairs a few rows down from us. I thought it was funny but a few people were not impressed. She was promptly escorted out and cleaning crews came in to clean it up.
