Frisco Baseball Classic Series Thread

Hawkeyes head back to Texas to play in the Frisco Baseball Classic this weekend played at Riders Field in Frisco Texas. Iowa sits at 5-3 on the season after ending a 3 game losing streak yesterday against Cornell. Iowa will play 3 solid teams and, hopefully, can win a couple of them.

Game 1 vs Wichita State, tomorrow at 1 pm
Game 2 vs Texas A&M, Saturday at 6 pm
Game 3 vs Washington State, Sunday at Noon

Mazur will be pitching game 1 against Wichita State.

Game 1 is underway with Mazur striking out the first batter. Have to feel good about this game with Mazur on the mound for the Hawkeyes.

Mazur got lit up in the 6th inning, it's now 4-4 B7.

Hawkeyes left them loaded in the bottom of the 9th, they lose 6-4.

Iowa lost G2 of the Frisco Classic 7-3 to Texas A&M. They will try to salvage one today against Washington State. Game starts at noon.
