Fran the Man is a Great Coach

this cat can flat out coach. Some observations:

1. Bringing May off the bench makes a ton of sense. He brings energy and plays a little more relaxed. He is the perfect sixth man.
2. Putting Archie on Johnson was brilliant. Archie could get a lot better and contribute next year.
3. Playing Marble more makes sense. He is quick and athletic.
4. Everyone on this team has improved this year. That is coaching.
5. The inbounds play to Gatens was brilliant. We needed to get the ball to Gatens in that situation, and we did. It led to victory.....
6. Fran is tough with the officials and fights for his team. That is what you need in this conference.
7. Dolphin interviewed Cole after the game and asked what makes Fran different. Cole said that, for the first time, the players believe in themselves and know they can get better. He said Fran is relentless and is a great MOTIVATOR.

God willing, this team will start to get better with this great coach.

I think this team is getting better....for the first time in 3 years this year...people are MAD at Carver HAwkeye....I am fairly sure that the officials were slightly afraid after they made one call and THE ENTIRE ARENA FREAKED OUT ON THEM.

I completely agree with all of those points. I really wanted to mention that imbounds pass to Gatens late was huge! When Gatens came over to imbound I was ****** because he was the guy that we needed to get the ball. I got very excited once Cartwright sprinted towards Matt and saw that bounce pass go to him! Coach also has an exciting style of play and is always complementry to us fans. I love coach Fran!

After Cartwright and Marble both missed free throws I knew there was no way in hell Fran was going to let anyone but Gatens get the ball even when I saw him taking it out.
