Team USA beat Senegal. 110-41 in the first game of the world cup qualifying round.

Caitlin Clark had a nice game, scoring 17 points and 12 assists in 19 minutes of action. Clark was 4-5 on 3 pointers. She looked relaxed in her first official action since injuries shut her down last July in the middle of her 2nd WNBA season.

Sometimes you forget just how much fun it is to watch Caitlin Clark on the court. Her assists really stood out just how she always can see everybody in her field of vision and make the perfect pass.

Team USA continues playing in the qualifying round tonight against Puerto Rico. Technically team USA has already qualified, for the final round so these games are just basically an audition for each player to earn a spot on future Team USA world cup and Olympic teams.

No shocker she was off today after a terrific game yesterday. Most of team was a bit but she's still dusting off.

Agree - She's still my fav "Iowa" thing to watch. Hands down, game is just more interesting to watch when she's on the floor. She just makes things happen.

Many prolly think annoying but I get a kick out of that guy from Senegal(?) announcing

Yesterday's Final Jeopardy. 1 person got it right. The other 2 said "Gauff" and "Collins".

Ok now I am wondering if Caitlin Clark Day was a one time thing in 2024? Or does the state celebrate CC Day every year?

Guessing it was a one time thing, but I predict one day Feb 22 will become an annual state holiday. (but only after she returns to coach Iowa WBB to multiple national championships and is then voted to be Iowa Governor in year 2062)
