Miss Saturday's Kids Day at Kinnick Stadium. No worries. HawkeyeNation.com has you covered. Watch these extensive highlights that include A.J. Epenesa sacks, touchdown passes and more:
I encourage you guys to watch these highlights as opposed to the 7 on 7 highlights I posted. Watch both, please, but put more stock in these. The games will be played 11 on 11 this fall.
Running backs look good. Butler stands out like he should. Based on what we are seeing between Butler and what we know of Wadley. This should be a killer year. Maybe 1500 yards? Stanley stands out among the QBs but there's nothing to get excited about....Yet. AJ. Wow! wish we had more freshmen like that. He should get some significant playing time. Start next year? So much upside to that young man. Receivers don't look too bad. But.....QB. If the passing game isn't there defenses will stack the box and look to shut down the run. Overall lot to look forward too. Some stars in the making. And some areas of concern. Still looking like a 6 + win season.
I'll take the over on the 1,500 yards. But, I can also see Young getting carries so perhaps that will keep us from having another season with two 1,000-yard backs. Any way you slice it, it should be a real good rushing attack.
