I'm surprised nobody else mentioned this. Beano Cook and Ivan Maisel gave their early predictions for next year's BCS Championship game.

Beano went with USC (even after Carroll left) over OSU (views the Big Ten as easier).

Ivan went with "little guys" Iowa (favorable schedule) and Boise St (almost everybody returns).

No......Beano is just a complete moron who I can't believe is still able to voice his opinion on a national network. Let alone a local radio show.

Beano said that if Ohio State played in the Big 12 or Pac 10 or SEC they wouldnt fare as well as they will in the Big 10.

I am always impressed with Beano's knowledge of history, but I think somewhere along the line he has stopped learning new things and is stuck back pre-1980, besides his apparent dislike of the Big 10.

Beano still thinks Notre Dame is a premier program.

The guy is a complete waste of breath as it pertains to college FB.

His day in the sun has passed.

His pick might be wrong but Beano has forgot more about college football than we will ever know.

Let's see, what do Beano and Lou have in common???

They have both lost contact with the current college football scene and should retire or be retired.

I had to stop listening to the podcast last year because for a time Beano was doing nothing but ragging on Big Ten scheduling week in, week out. For all that history, he couldn't do the basic math that you can't have a 9 game conference schedule with 11 teams.

When someone says "a Big10 team (like OSU) would not fare as well in the SEC" I just shake my head. I would like to see the SEC play at any Big10 stadium in November when the weather is in the 30-40's with cold rain.
