Epi fails physical for Browns

Been reading where Epi was in Cleveland about a new contract for a year at 5mill but the Browns found something wrong with his physical. He's back on the free agency market.

Is he hurt?
He did the skill/athletic portion of the physical and he performed to well to play for the Browns so they sent him back. #brownsfan

Honestly, though, it could explain why he had such a drastic drop-off last season.

I'm kinda glad... Woulda hoped he found a better home then the Browns.
Yes and no. He goes there, he's going to lose a lot of games. On the other hand, teams double and triple-team Myles Garrett on the opposite side the other DE gets 1-in-1 and plays coming at him more than away from him. They have had pretty crappy DE's put up pretty nice numbers since Myles has been there. He was going to be on a 1-year prove it contract and could've made himself some good money if he could've stood the toxic culture of the team and living in Cleveland.

Yeah I see what ya mean. It's just the overall everything about that team... I'd hope he found a better home then that. I thought he did well at Buffalo last yr. I'm sure he'll land on his feet somewhere.

Failed the physical might be another way of saying there was something minorly wrong with the physical, however minor, and the Browns had second thoughts. Kind of like the Ravens did with Maxx Crosby. A team can nix a deal for almost any reason.

I hope he still has lots of good opportunities.

No one is giving him 5 million now, but he will sign on somewhere. He is a solid, if not unspectacular NFL rush end. He will provide depth and even possible starting roles for a team at a bargain price.

I'll buy that for a dollar...

Why do you do that to yourself? I mean I'm a Vikings and Hawkeyes fan so I kinda get it, but I at least have the Braves to take a little of the edge off...

The Vikings and Hawks like to be good enough to get your hopes up before crushing your soul. Not sure if that is better or worse? (edit: it is definitely better)

Grew up a Minnesota sports can, lived and died by the Twins and Vikings. Cried after Darren Nelson dropped a pass on the goal-line to potentially win the 1987 NFC championship vs. Washington (I might have every detail of that memory wrong, but that is how I remember it). Couldn't sleep for hours after Kirby's homer in extra-innings of game 6 in 1991. But man, 1991 was a LONG time ago, things have been awfully dry since.

Dude Gary Anderson missed kick was the worst moment in Vikings history.

Because the Jets weren't good when I was little.;)
I'm old enough to remember the '69 Jets that won the Super Bowl with Joe Namath. He famously guaranteed a victory prior to the game (as heavy underdogs to the Baltimore Colts).

But I think other than that, they basically never been good. :)

Stop listing shitty times the Vikings have broken my heart. The 98 team was the best team in football. We would have won the SB. uggg.

I finally got to the point of being good with Favre on our team and he is playing great and then does what Favre does. UGGGGGGG!!!!

I still blame Childress more than Favre for that loss. He was responsible for the stupid 12-men in the huddle penalty that put us in a position where throwing was even an option.
