Desmond King Not Happy

He may have a good point but that's not the way to go about it.

Agree there are things that should be handled internally and things that should be made public. Going to the public who has absolutely no influence on whether a guy sees the field or not, is not a smart move IMO.

Somebody wants out of LA.... What's he have another yr on his contract? I thought he was a perfect fit and they had him playing some kind of a rover safety role. Evidently he's not happy with coming off the field sometimes. Sad to see him take to twitter to bitch about PT but I suppose that's what many guys do....

Not the best move on his part, but he's barely playing half the snaps. Social media isn't usually the professional way to go with issues, but it seems to work for some players.

Anyone know how many snaps Josh Jackson is getting in Green Bay.?

He has made limited impact and plays mostly special teams.

Its not the perfect way to go about it but he's pro-bowl caliber and getting limited snaps. I mean. Not many GM's or coaches would love it but might understand the passion in this case. He wants to play and earn his money. Passion. From the PFF ratings, isn't he rated out as one of the better dbs in their grading. And you guys are what...2-0..oh thats right. No. And you've won how many important playoff games in the past 20 yrs? So another nope. Yea, play him or move him.

i don't think this is the way to go about it...you are in the locker room...go get your answers. That being said...the Spanos Family would mess up a wet dream. Talk about your morons with money. My god...this team has talent, but there is always a bonehead front office move on the horizon with this team.

I've always liked the Chargers, but they are paying some sort of Karmic ransom for drafting Ryan Leaf or something. Maybe it was Phillip Rivers, but they've spit out so many fourth quarter leads over the past five years for a lifetime of football. And they do it in a different way every game.

I don't condone the going to social media to air his grievances route but the Chargers is a dumpster fire of an organization. I wouldn't want to play there either.

Moving the team from San Diego where they had a really dedicated fanbase to LA where they draw less fans than every opposing team was the pinnacle of their ineptitude.

Not that I'm defending the ownership but the city of San Diego left them little choice but to move. They couldn't get a stadium there and the old one was obsolete by today's standards.

Well, "today's standards" actually include 0 fans in the stadium. On an annual basis I watch maybe 20 hours total combined of NFL, NHL, MLB and NBA and that bullshit line of socialism for billionaires and millionaires is a big part of the reason for that. F those assholes. There are like 2 pro sports stadiums in this country that are a net draw against their cost and those are Wrigley and Fenway and they are a draw because they get at least 81 games in a normal year and sell the place out more often than not. Maybe the shit in Atlanta and Indy are borderline accretive due to the huge numbers of other events that they manage to draw on a regular basis. The economic impact models these clowns have created to convince themselves that a football stadium is a good investment for the taxpayers are worth less than a roll of toilet paper and I respect the shit out of San Diego for telling them to get bent. Look, I fucking hate St. Louis, think the place is a total shithole, but the way the Rams and NFL fucked them over is blood curdling. F that league.

I hate the fact that public funds go to support sports teams and their billionaire owners. But cities line up to do it and if one doesn't, they are soon out of the game and the owner goes somewhere else where they can get a better deal. Pretty much sums up what happened in San Diego. And you're right, St. Louis got completely screwed. Until these cities quit giving handouts, it will continue.

Yeah...San Diego politicians would never be confused with any form of genius...but the fact that Spanos couldn't get a deal from the city tells you something. He behaved like an entitled ass and SD said pound sand. Now they play second fiddle to the LA Rams and the fan base from San Diego has pretty much said...meh to traveling to LA. The die hards will...but that's a shrinking number.

Wonder why he was only on the field for just over half the snaps. maybe he's got a point.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that he's got a point, but the point belongs in the locker room or in meetings and not aired out on social media.
