My opinion on the current pecking order of Big 10 Football powers.
Top Tier Teams:
1. Ohio State - On top until someone knocks them off
2. Iowa - Get OSU at home this year and there is remote chance this game could be another #1 vs. #2 game in the Big 10 - that would be sweet!
3. Wisconsin - A lot of talent returns in Madison
4. Penn State - Lose a lot, but will still be tough
Middle Tier Teams:
5. Michigan State - Good defense, but they always seem to under-achieve
6. Northwestern - Good team, Very good coach - This is the team I most want to see the Hawks crush this year to make up for previous years' stinkers.
7. Michigan - I know they will be better, but I am still not a fan of Rich Rod.
8. Purdue - Another team that will be better and they played better than their record last year.
Bottom Tier Teams:
9. Minnesota - Nice Staudium - looking forward to seeing a new Kinnick North next year.
10. Illinois - Zook is still there - enough said.
11. Indiana - Gave us a scare last year on Halloween, but I don't think they will be as good this year
Prediction for the 2010 Hawks: 11-1 - I think the Hawks will beat OSU at home but stumble in one other game - ROSE BOWL bound!!
