The Iowa formula spelled out in this series. Run the ball, stop the run and be close enough to win it with a FG at the end.

Your choice of words made you sound a bit skeptical of a fully healthy fall for MVB. Just normal hesitancy after a couple of injuries to the same body part, or have you seen/heard something this summer that makes you think it might be a challenge for him?

Ugh just watched the Michigan video. So, the facemask was debatable, but the roughing the center wasn't? I mean really, how much time do you have to give the center? You can see the center taking his sweet time getting his head up after he releases the ball and you see it later in the video where the center doesn't even put his head up. Rather obvious he was trying to get that call again.

No. By all accounts, he's still working back. My reluctancy to be all on on MVB is what you said. He's broken the same foot twice and foot injuries can be tricky (see Bill Walton).

I'm being positive and in my mind picturing him being the player he was, but I have to see it first. Interested to talk to him Monday at B1G media day in Chicago to see where he's at physically. KF said Wednesday that he and Bazata still are working their way back.
