I think #10 is a good spot to place him to start but I could see him moving in to your top 5 by the end of the year.

I think a lot of folks would put him higher on based on potentially. It's an interesting discussion.

As I wrote, it's difficult to place him without knowing his role and how he'll work in the system.

I agree. The "not knowing" part should keep the opposing defenses off balance also ... at least for awhile.

Let's see just how "open-minded" kirk ferentz is willing to be. If we want to help our inexperienced WR's, have JB and AW in the backfield at the same time and motion one of them. That'll cause defenses to have to shift and communicate and will help the WR's get open, as well as, take a man out of the box. This should be a staple this season and 60% of formations. Replace the fb with 2 rb's 60% of the time.

I think you will see them on the field together a lot. You need your weapons on the field as much as possible. I think you find Wadley in the slot on third down...tell me a safety or linebacker that wants Wadley one on one in space. I have a feeling with a short passing game featuring Wadley, Butler, and Vandeburg...if you do it well...it's really hard to defend.

This could be a year of sustained drives...because we just got much better on third down. Any time you add someone like this...it helps your offense immensely. Butler is very similar to Wadley...he going to try and make something happen when the play isn't working. There are some cuts in his film behind the line of scrimmage that were pretty impressive. Looked like a loss of 3-4 and he made a big play. I think our offense is going to be a lot better than people think...especially if our offensive staff is thinking of both playing multiple positions.
