Connor and CC

Talent is attractive. You have to take your normal assessment of attractiveness, and then up it at least 50% knowing she is one of the greatest college WBB of all time.
Nope. Her being really good at basketball doesn’t make the huge eye brows and resemblance to Nicholas Baer more attractive. She’s very androgynous and that doesn’t turn my crank. But different strokes for different folks…

Could not disagree more. Whether it is brains, athletic ability, or some other skill...talent is always an attractiveness amplifier. That person is not a poster you stare at, they are a human being you interact with (in a hypothetical sense). And talented people are just more interesting.

I love how a thread about Connor being a dousche online turned into a "Is she hot or is she not" thread. Men will always be boys. :)

Women have to do the same thing about men, right? I am sure if you find the right corner of the internet, or the right social scenario, you will find mirror images of these conversations going on.

I don't usually get too uncomfortable with these discussions unless there are hoards of "keyboard heart-throbs" tearing down some poor person who didn't do anything to draw their attention. I don't think this discussion has devolved to that point.

Everything is relative

Compared to the average supermodel or Hollywood actress, Caitlin is not attractive.

Compared to the average girl playing college badketball, Caitlin is about average.

Compared to the average player in the WNBA, I would say Caitlin is much more attractive than the average WNBA athlete.

That’s what makes the world interesting. Everyone’s different.

Connor has proven he doesn't have the mettle for the coaching business by the way he pouts about his dad's tenure ending at Iowa. If I were an AD I'd feel like I was hiring a future problem. Kind of like agreeing to date Taylor Swift back in the day- you pretty much knew it would either end in marriage or a diss track.

That makes me wonder. This could be an interesting question. Could Fran McCaffery get hired today if he was just starting out in coaching? He has a history of a quick temper and cold personality, right? Would that turn off the modern day AD?

Well, he wouldn’t have that reputation if he were just getting started in coaching.

Temper, yes. Cold personality, no way. Outside of a basketball setting, he was a cool guy. He was everyone's buddy at high school baseball games.

Depends. What was Fran like when he was at UNC Greensboro & Sienna? I can't say I ever saw him coach at either place prior to coming to Iowa. He may have evolved into what he was at Iowa and wasn't the same guy day 1 getting in.
