I would take Barkley at #1, best available QB at #4...

BTW...I know nothing about drafting players but am better than it than the Browns.

I've been keeping track over the years and I have done better than the Browns. And in case you were wondering, I wouldn't have taken Manziel...

I wouldn't.
I would do the same thing the Hawk staff does, look for value. That qb from Wyoming has that. You can get him cheaper, give him a year or two and build around him.
From there, I'd take AW. Also a good value.
Both seem to have good character and have a desire not only to win, but to make those around them better. That's hard to put a dollar sign on.

Probably because the benchpress is the single most overrated exercise there is in relation to how much it is emphasized, and Doyle knows it.

I believe Doyle explained this once. He said you don't block a guy by putting your arms straight out...you get under him and drive him up and back. That's why they do that drill where they flip the tractor/combine tire back and forth.

AK is listed (currently) as 5 11 and 194 pounds.

Ronnie Harmon played in the NFL at a listed height of 5 11 and 200 pounds (although some sites had him listed at 220)
He played for 12 years in the NFL.

I'd be very surprised if AK doesn't do just as well in the NFL.

Yep, and that involves leg and core strength, obviously.

Yeah Wadley didn't do himself any favors... In a deep RB class he needed to run a little faster and stand out a little more. He could get lost in the shuffle and drop out all together of getting drafted. I say that because of history. LeShun had solid tape to watch at Iowa and with better mesurables then Wadley and he didn't get drafted. I think Wadley can for sure be a #2 3rd down type of back in todays NFL. But he'll have his work cutout for him because he won't be drafted higher than the 6th round if at all now. Some RB needy teams out there to keep an eye on for him would be NYG, Tampa Bay, Colts, and if 49ers and Steelers don't resign/tag their starters....

LD’s ‘16 season was solid. Before that he was injury prone and tentative. “Look like Tarzan, play like Jane” is how I saw LD before ‘16. AW has more on film than LD did.

Shaquem Griffin, the LB from UCF with 1 hand, is the first player over 225 lbs to run under 4.4. He ran a 4.38. Also put up 225 20 times in the bench.

Wadley's vision and instincts are otherworldly. His timing on his cuts, is a thing of beauty. He made a lot of good defenders look ordinary.

For these reasons, I could see him having a lot of success if he finds the right team. I would think New England would be able to make great use of his skills. I don't see any reason he could not have the type of impact that Kamara had on New Orleans last year if he found the right situation.

Barkley also reversed global warming, eliminated the national debt and intercepted an inbound North Korean missile. Wow! Those aren't quite Bo Jackson numbers, but their close.

Barkley should be the #1 pick. I mean these different GMs can all have their preferences as to the type of QB they want. But each and every single one of them have their question marks. The Browns have no business gambling on a another rookie QB that high. None of them are of the Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning category. They should be going all in on trying to get either Kirk Cousins, or Keenum. Get a proven commodity and build around him. They won't be able to get both a rookie QB and Barkley if they take a QB first. Make sure you get Barkley he's just too much of a game changer. I'd love for my 49ers to trade up for him if the Browns don't take him at #1 but I think the cost will be too high for them. So maybe they'll trade down a few spots and take Josh Jackson

I still like the Jackson Wadley combo.
I see them like a Rivers, Tomlinson combo.
Back in the day of course.

Of course he did.

Translation: We won't do anything to customize our scheme for the opponent, especially the stud of their team. Players who are that talented are too flashy anyway. We won't encourage that type of behavior. Base defense. Straight up.

Yet we have the Michigan game of 2016, the Penn State, Ohio State games of 2017. Our defense has been good. Look at the hype Barkley has gotten. The only stat that really counts for the D is what they let get on the board for points.

I don't see Wadley being a workhorse like that... Even if he's capable I don't think most teams would give him the chance. I think his ceiling is something like what Kamaraa at NO is doing. Or that Thompson kid at Washington. He was being used all sorts of ways before he got hurt. Wadley will be a 10 touches a game guy or so. If he does well and stays healthy he can play a long time and make some good $ doing it.

I can't recall just how fast LD was, but everything is is almost identical. Size, vision and that elusiveness out of the backfield.
Iirc LD had pretty good hands as well.
They both excelled in many of the same areas.
Aw needs a few more pounds, but he's close.
