Clowns on offense did a lot of pushing off and zero calls

What about Georges' ol' soccer mom pillow butt?? Juvenile would love him in his rap videos.

Btw, how chilly was it in Hilton on Friday? Boy Niang had some diamond cutters...turn the heat up for the poor guy..
So making fun of the kid who dominated every player that attempted to guard him, made the go-ahead layup and put up 25, makes you feel better about yourself?

Or was that just your lame attempt at humor?

Thoughts?

My thought...The 7' 1" Woody looks far more athletic than the 6'6" Hogue...just kidding.

PS: I am sure glad you didn't use the picture of Kane bouncing the ball off Adam's back on the inbounds play in the second half. The resulting bucket and one started a lot of bad stuff to follow. Adam is improving but he has a long way to go....

Facts will get you nowhere on here.

Crap you are correct!

I forgot how important RPI is this time of the year.

I take it back, teh Clownies might turn out to be a bad loss after all.

BTW - looks like Harvard is catching up to you - look out. Although since you are Harvard on I-35 I guess you are in good company.

You have to watch out for powerhouses like UMass, Harvard, Santa Barbara, and Pacific! RPI isn't a great indicator as it gives more weight to record without taking strength of schedule into account as much.

So players should be allowed to foul since it's at the start of the game? Hahahahahaha smart group of people on this board.

Same with the point the original argument was made on. Saying that White being "weak" makes Ejim's push off less of a foul. Sure the ref didn't call either one but it appears both should have been called.

In turn, both sides sound completely stupid.

Ya that is the team by team RPI. We're talking about the conference RPI here, which probably has over 100 games to sample from for each conference. Just let this one go.

So now RPI is a bad thing. I love it here, one week RPI is amazing, next week it means nothing.

First of all, most people on this board will agree that the RPI is a joke. If someone said the 'RPI is amazing', I'd love to hear it. Do you have a link or a quote or something?

Serious question; do you guys honestly think the B12 is the best conference in basketball this year?

I read plenty of threads talking up RPI last week, never said you guys were saying it was the best indicator. And I never said the Big 12 was the best conference, so that question is irrelevant.

Link? I don't recall anyone on here stating that the RPI is amazing. Granted I probably don't spend as much time here as you do so you're more likely to catch something like that.

And that's fine if you don't answer the question. I think most objective fans agree it's not the best conference.

I can't say as they are the best confrence. The top 4 schools over there are pretty tough though (BU, KU, ISU, OSU). The rest of the confrence is kind of a wash but there are only 10 teams so 40% of the league is in the top 20. Think its is more a math trick than real stat. They have an SEC football thing going in basketball. Top is pretty good while bottom is really really soft.

I think the big 12 has 6 teams capable of making the tourney. No shot with the other four but the top is pretty decent.

I thought this too, however Texas has surprised me quite a bit. I guess we will see how it comes out in the end, but they really shocked me winning at UNC.
