He finished with 7 last night putting him at 176 on the year. He needs 17 to tie and 18 to break it. It looks like we might have to win 2 games in the B10 tourney. To bad he had that cramp issue yesterday. He was on pace for a 10 assist game before missing 10 min.

Woolridge may hold the record for total assists in a season, but Wulfsberg holds the season record for assists per game at 6.6 apg. In 1976, Wulfsberg had two fewer assists than Woolridge in four fewer games.

No other Hawkeye has average more than 6.0 assist per game. Four times Hawks have averaged 6.0 assist per game. Lester, Oliver and Woolridge (twice) have averaged 6.0 assists per game in a seasons.

Hopefully, Cartwright can get both records next year.
