Who's Amy and how did she win?
Weather was not that bad. I didn't notice much wind. Just layer up a little and everything was fine.
As for the game, a win is a win. It wasn't pretty but as Huckfinn said, their defense was pretty salty. We did not play our best game but came out with a win. A loss would have felt especially bad.

I really like the idea of McCollum having 8 days to regroup with this squad. The schedule lines up well, too. There is a chance to stack some wins, and several quad 1 resume builders look fairly winnable.
Give me 12-8, and a 5/6 seed in the dance.
At that point, I like the Hawk's chances vs a 3 or 4 seed in the second game. It's all we ever ask for.

Agreed that their defense kept them in the game. Outside of poor shooting, which happens to any team from time to time the biggest concern was around sloppy passing and guys maybe not being in spots quickly enough. Shore those two things up in the time off and hopefully they can make some noise in February.
For anyone who thinks our Rutgers win was a "bad" win, they took Michigan State to overtime the other night and really should have won the game in regulation. They are an improving team that is playing pretty well. They are now jelling and unfortunately for them playing top competition and coming up just short.
