BS and the draft

Saw a post from HawkeyeWire that quoted the below from a CBS mock draft.

Round 1 - Pick 18
Charlotte Hornets:
Bennett Stirtz, PG, Iowa, Sr., 6-foot-4, 190 pounds
It's very possible the Hornets go big here, but if not, it would make sense to solidify the backcourt. Stirtz is a highly skilled true point guard with an elite feel for the game. He's not an overwhelming athlete or defender, but he's ultra reliable, always in the right spots, and has an understanding of the game beyond his years. The bottom line is his DNA is similar to what Charlotte prioritized in last year's draft. - Adam Finkelstein, CBS Sports
Bennett Stirtz was dynamic for Iowa this year as the point guard who ran the offense, but also the guy Iowa leaned on when they needed a bucket late in the shot clock or late in games. In his lone year in the Big Ten at Iowa, Stirtz averaged a very healthy 19.5 points per game to go with 5.0 assists and 2.6 rebounds, while shooting 48.7% from the field and 37.2% from three-point range.

The 2026 NBA Draft first round is set for Tuesday, June 23, and can be viewed on ABC.

I was expecting a different take, misunderstanding what BS stood for.

Just saw a mock where BS goes to Minnesota late in the first round.

That would be a good place for him, the TWolves could finally get rid of Conley.

I saw Bennet get to the rim and make some shots where I said, “How the hell did he make that with a good rim protector in the way?” Yup.

Just saw that he measured in at 6'2.5 and 186 lbs.
He's really shot the ball lights out during it. Pretty much as good as anybody there. He's helped himself immensely with how he's performed so far. I thought he was a little bigger then that but that's alright he's big enough. My guess is he's probably slimmed down a little since the season to try and make himself as quick and fast as he can be for this combine. I bet he'd like to be closer to 200 lbs for when the season comes back around.

No surprise here but the mock I saw was top loaded with one and dones in the 6'9"- 7'0" range.

Then you have the international players in the 6'9"- 7'0" range.

Shooting guards are now in the 6'5" - 6;7"range.

Man he looks taller than that. I guess they all inflate their height. Iowa has him listed as 6'4.

BS has long arms. I don’t know the exact measurements, but he is just built like a basketball player. Look at the release on his shot it is high up there.

Speaking of arm length, people have been wondering why the St. Mary's transfer 7'2" Center McKeever had so few blocked shots last season. Very few 7'2" guys elevate off the ground more than a couple inches, and all ya gotta do is look at his arms -- super short. Dude is like a human Tyrannosaurus rex.

Sign him up for the Iowa o-line.

This is true of all white people. Don't just pick on the carnival freaks among us.

Just saw another mock with BS going to Minnesota, maybe that has legs.
Would really like for him to go to a good team. It's damn near disheartening to have the Murrays out west on bad insignificant teams. You have to go out of your way to find much on Keegan and he's too good a player for that. Had a monster rookie yr and it's been all downhill since with coaching changes, roster moves that make no sense. Sacramento is a dumpster fire. I hope Stirtz has way better luck then what the Murrays have had

The Kings really looked to be on the upswing shortly before blowing it all up again.
