I see that Brendan has been signed by Memphis, which is doing a real rosteer overhaul.

Wouldn't that be something if he stuck with them. He could give BM all the credit for rounding out his game.

Here's where the chance is, there is a good chance he will make Memphis summer league roster. Depending on how he shows there he could be a candidate for the G League.

He's a one-dimensional player who could easily be guarded by NBA players who are the best players in the world. Not a good combo. He really wasn't that good or consistent in that one dimension at Iowa either.

Austin Reeves started every game at OU he played and averaged 18 ppg as a senior.

Here's what to watch for with Hausen.

He's got about 3 weeks to prove himself in practice. If he does, he'll get minutes in Vegas and if he contributes, he'll have a shot at the G League.

If he sits on the end of the bench and gets no minutes, he's likely done.

If he doesn't make the summer league roster, well then.......

I was thinking last might, I know we shouldn't think too much, but thinking that even though he hardlyy played BM may have done great things for Brendan in preparing him for an NBA career. He taught him how to playD, work on his body and developed a more all around game. He could always shoot or at least that's what we were told.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Dix hasn't looked good at all.... Looks small/unathletic and can't get his shot off much. Not to mention wasn't hitting the few he did get. NBA is too big a leap for him it looks like.

After not playing for two games, Brendan comes off the bench, plays 19 minutes, scores 20 points, shotts 6-8 from 3. Such is life in the summer league.

I'd be really surprised if he doesn't at least get invited to fall camp.

If McCollum made one mistake last yr I'd say it's how he handled Hausen... He clearly shoulda had more of a role on the team. Dude can shoot/spread the floor he just can and Ben buried him on the bench. He shoulda got most of Howards mins if we're being honest. Playing him as sporadically as he did with no rhyme or reason to his role wasn't fair to the guy. I'm just glad he was such a good teammate about it all.

Stirtz and Sandfort both looked pretty good last night for the most part. Sandfort isn't shy to shoot he lets it fly. The end of that game they made interesting. And Dix did well. That was by far his best game yet out there.
