I know there has already been a thread or two dedicated to Snyder's walk-on status a few weeks ago, but I came across some interesting information about him after watching him play at the state basketball tournament (where he put on an insane display of passing ability and was the all-tournament team captain). I was surprised to see he finished 6th at last year's state golf tournament, and as it turns out, he only played golf because he had surgery to address compartment syndrome in his leg and couldn't run track last year (he ran as a freshman and sophomore, not sure if he's doing track or golf this year).
I think Iowa absolutely got a diamond in the rough here. Seems like he can simply do anything he wants, and he'll be uber-successful at it. Definitely looking forward to seeing him in Black and Gold.
