What young players do you expect or want to hear are doing well in the practices? Who do we need to take a step forward for next year?

All quarterbacks. How many qb's are currently on IA roster? How many qb's recruited for 16' season?
Done deal? CJ is awesome. Hoping the reserves are watching and learning. Sure they are. Harbaugh has been bragging up his qb's. Wisky? Not sure. But they won't miss Stave IMHO.

WR for sure since Smith will be gone next year. Jerminic and Scheel are the top two guys that come to mind. I'm also curious if James Daniels is still the plan for center next year or maybe that's up for competition. I also wouldn't mind hearing about Graham at RB. His film is unreal but needs to be able to block and show he can run in Iowa's zone blocking scheme.

I'd like to hear about people doing good things in the following positions:
1. WR - We lose Hillyer and T. Smith and only bring back Vandeberg with any real semblance of game experience. I know J. Smith played, but it wasn't much. Any positive news out of WR position would be welcome.
2. Interior OL - We've got good tackle depth with Croston, Meyer, and Boetger. However, we lose Blythe and Walsh. It'll be interesting to see if James Daniels gets any looks at C or if he is going to be a G next year and have Croston move to C since he's more experienced. Hope to hear good things about guard/center depth.
3. DE - We lose Meier for sure and most likely Ott, so we need depth at DE. That may not come, however, until the big load of DEs that are in this year's class get on campus next fall.
4. LB - While we return two of the 3, we have a TON of depth there, so it'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Will Mends, who started getting in on Raider packages, look to fill Cole Fisher's spot? What about Hockaday who played on special teams? Where does Bo Bower fit in? We've got some good, young talent there.
5. QBs - We've got 3 guys right now in Weigers, Boyle, and Cook with Stanley coming in the fall. Will be interesting to see how the depth chart starts shaking out during bowl prep, if at all.

Jermaneek, scheel, falconer, kuhlik, graham, mends, Snyder, outsey, wiznooski, slater, etc. I'm hoping all take the next steps for next year.
Jameer Outsey, RS FR TE. He actually appeared in a couple of early games when we were still trying to settle the TE position without Jake Duzey. And with Krieger-Coble and Duzey leaving, we need some fresh TE's. I get the impression that this young man can be someone REALLY special.
