Best Case Scenario, Iowa Starts 1-1

Remember folks, this is what all of Iowa Sports media told us. The best this team could do was split these first two games. Well, the boys balled out, and slaughtered two ranked programs. Now Iowa gets three cupcakes to figure out the offense. If all goes well, we receive Penn State on October 9 for another top 10 primetime matchup, 5-0, 2-0 in the Big Ten. This season is going to feel a whole lot like 2015 after we beat Wisconsin if the Hawks can get past the Fighting Franklins. Go Hawks!

Agreed, running the table is a possibility with even an average offense and elite defense (and special teams) this year.

I thought about starting a new thread with this but decided to post it here. Has Iowa ever started like this? Start the year against 2 highly ranked teams, a top 10 on the road, and win them both?

Iowa is no super team. They can lose to Kent St, Col St or MD if they don't show up with their head in the game. and a little bad luck.

MD has trap game written all over it. Having to travel on a short week playing a team that just beat WV. IOWA'S defense will need to be at their best that day.
