You know what.... Yeah I think losing today wouldn't be the worst thing ever. Cause I don't have a ton of confidence in putting up as much of a fight against them again on a neutral floor. I hate thinking that way but just looking at how we've played lately I just don't have the confidence. Hope they change my mind down the stretch of this game but I'm not banking on it

Despite not winning, I believe there isa an advantage to losing to OSU by 10 than losing big time
to Michigan

Plus we are playing very well now

I don't want to lose to OSU by double digits though. Who the eff are they? :) Mich., Purdue, MSU, maybe even Wisky but not OSU. Not even Nebraska by double digits this year and not OSU by double digits either. :)

Had their chances.. Can't say we got screwed. Alvaro finally hitting a couple big shots gave us a snow balls chance. Stirtz missing a layup and FT down the stretch was kinda the difference I thought. He missed shots he knows he should make
 
Damn we outrebounded them 24-21

And we shot 48% from beyond the arc: 10-21

They were 6-20 but they scored inside very well: 26-47: 55%

This game was the perfect example of a post I made in another thread. Iowa has one player in double figures (Stirtz, as usual) and Ohio State has four. You just can't compete if only one player is consistent from one game to another. Banks, Manyawu, Folgueiras, and especially Koch, have all had big games for Iowa this season, but disappeared today. You are not going to be a successful team like that. I hope they can rectify this situation given the lateness of the season, or else their stay in the NCAA's, as a nine or ten seed, will be extremely short.
And with the graduating losses (Stirtz, Banks and Hausen), Coach McCollum had better step up recruiting or next year will be a nightmare.
