Banks to Clark: Banana Ball at Kinnick

Was driving into Iowa City Friday night at 4:30p, headed to the annual July 4th weekend Jazz Festival there. Expected a relaxed drive down Melrose to my downtown hotel. Much to my surprise, Melrose Ave was backed up to the freeway! Thousands and thousands of people parking a mile away and walking to Kinnick. I had no idea what was going on. A crazy scene -- just like football game day. The Savannah Bananas sold out Kinnick for 2 nights in a row. Wild.
