Bacon and breakfast

Yea, I try to stay away from all oils pretty much anymore. Remember when they advertised that Canola oil was the healthy oil compared to veg oil. Ha.

I'll do some olive oil but have to be careful sec to the hot point with it.
I use a little butter instead of oil when I'm doing stuff like frying eggs, etc.

I'll have to try 425 and see how it goes.
I've run a few different temps. 425 is where it's at. Also, try twisting your bacon into corkscrew kind of shape. Dunno why, but it seems to come out better, perfect texture. Crispy but not black

I did this once, and I felt it came out better too. But it's just too time consuming. When I want bacon, I don't want anything else getting in my way, and the time to corkscrew 2lbs of bacon was just unacceptable to me. :)

Weird, never heard of that before. I’ll have to try that this weekend

Might want to set aside 3 hrs!
I don't drink alcohol but I love virgin bloody Marys and I bet if you did it just right with the corkscrew and overlapped your twists perfectly, you could make a bacon straw out of those. Maybe I'm wrong and only one out of 20 pieces would work, lol.
