Yep. We are in the clubhouse. The only way Iowa is left behind is if the two big conferences somehow lose power. Right now, the SEC and Big10 Commissions run college football. I don't see them ceding that power anytime soon. The only way something might change is if the conferences hold fast to even revenue splits and the big boys get restless. I could envision a scenario where the OSU's and Texas' of the world break away from conference affiliations and simply start a semi-pro league with a limited number of seats. I think Iowa is included if its roughly the size of the NFL. If it were more like 24, it could get dicey.Nope. Call it luck, call it circumstance. We are already in the club.
Again, this is a highly remote and theoretical scenario that I cannot see happening, but if you would have told me in 2020 what college football would look like today.....
