Yeah I love how the Fever will put Boston at the elbow/high post let her get the ball turn read and react to the defense. It puts the defense in a tough spot to make a decision. If Ava gets to being more comfortable with passing and decision making from that spot look out. Cause she can go right or left and drive from there fine and hit that jumper. But sometimes her passing decisions can leave a lot to be desired. That's what Boston is unreal at when you really watch them play. She puts defenses in conflict every which way you can

For a player who can't/doesn't play defense it's crazy. It will be interesting to see what WNBA team takes a chance on her. Her game will not translate. She's also not going to suddenly drop 50+ pounds. If she hasn't done it by now, it ain't happenin'.

Her game will not transfer to the W. She knows it I'm sure and that's why going after a big payday was a big deal for her. It urks me that being that lazy and doesn't have a vertical jump of more than 1/2 inch can get that kind of money. Not a team player and I wouldn't want her on my team. There's some stuff coming out about their practices and I'm sure people will be shocked at the specialized treatment she got.

Sounds like that's how she chose Ames. Knew she wouldn't have to do anything other than just play and be an all around happy go lucky personality. I call her a phony. BF is at the end of his coaching gig and probably thought he'd go out in a blaze of glory. Bill didn't factor in injuries. With the Brown injury that pretty much did the whole team in and really made him look like an idiot!

Started 66 of 66 games the past two seasons, and over her 3 seasons has averaged over 23 pts/game, shot over 60%, and made over 70% FTs. A 3-time 1st Team All B12 Conference player. = $1.4 million.
In contrast, McKeever, the St. Mary's transfer lured to the men's team in Iowa City, has started only 10 of 53 games he's played in over his first two seasons. Averaged 8 pts and 9 rebounds per game this past season, shooting 50% from the field. Shot in the 35% range FTs as a Fr and upped that to the 60s% FTs his sophomore year. = $3 million (reportedly).
I wouldn't get too upset about Crooks' payday. She earned it.
McKeever hasn't. Yet.

This might piss some snowflakes off, but I hope she doesn't end up like her old man. Her size is not a good indicator.
He didn't take care of himself and diabetes among other issues got him in a wheelchair at a young age, and now he's dead. People her size, especially a female in that size frame, don't live long. Needs to drop 100 lbs and stay moving...I'm sorry but that lady is 285 all day long. She's college age and can't physically jog the length of a basketball court and her feet have never left the playing surface her entire career. Add enough money that she won't have to work after this year and it ain't a good recipe. Hopefully I'm wrong.
