KF will be up and ready to game plan for the Gophers. Gum? Check Notepad? Check Pencil? Check VCR remote? Check. OK then, lets just hit Play and see what kind of plan we can scheme up that will allow us to do just enough for a 50/50 shot at the end.

Lol, funny you think this group actually watches tape and game plans for anybody.

Not sure....but I do know that KF probably lusts after the great, great, great grand children of the players in this movie. 6.7 in the 40 is something that he would definitely like to acquire more of at our skill positions.

Funny stuff.

Saw a few 'trick plays'. Someone needs to tell Cap that you don't really need horses and a chariot to run one. Maybe he has been confused about that all these years.

But seriously, sadly I dont think our coaches spend a great deal of time game planning or studying our opponent. We never seem to exploit any weaknesses or look for advantages. We just roll the same basic shit out there week after week. On both sides of the ball but especially the offense.

Do we ever try to get Wadley in space? Put him in the slot? Send him in motion? We just run him into the middle of the line. Like he is Mark Weismann or something.

I've said it before. Captain Nepotism doesn't know much about offense past the line of scrimmage. But he thinks he does and that is the rub. And he is way too conservative in his beliefs/approach. I would call it cowardly. Even the zone blocking scheme seems such a passive approach.

Skinny - In all seriousness, we do NOT have the skill to exploit anyone....how many years in a row are we going to have sub NAIA talent at WR?

-----Clowns want new fans. If you want to follow a championship team, roll tide!

I have my Dodgers...thank you.

I disagree with this, PM. We all agree AW is a real talent. ISM is a legit threat. I believe B. Smith is a legit threat. We don't know about Matt Quarrels because he has seen the field yet. Which, if you ask me, is odd. I think IKM is the real deal and I think TY could become a real horse for us. I mean, we threw to him one time out of the backfield and he made a remarkable play for 23 yards and then nothing. No, we have talent. Again....we just aren't using it correctly or, sometimes, at all.

No intended slam to you but is this a serious question under the current peewee coaching staff any Hawk fan should ever ask?

I know, I know, but dammit Wadley could be exploited in so many ways. Shoot, I see it, you see it, we all see it. But our staff is so stubborn they refuse to change.

Im changing how I call our HC KF to FKF.

Iowa reminds me of a sports car that most often is running on 6 cylinders rather than 8...and it is intentionally de-tuned to sputter about...painful to watch.

Could someone explain the world is flat phenomenon to me? Do people actually believe this or is it something cool to say?

Sure: A long time ago, everyone thought the world was flat. But it turns out it isn't. So, people changed their way of thinking about the world. You could now do things differently.

Mary needs to tell her husband to lose the headset on the sideline so their son can do what he wants on offense.

Last night and this morning I have been thinking of all the years of being emotionally attached to nothing but a Fucking game! Nothing but a fucking game! What the hell is wrong with all of us! Time for me to start cutting that string and letting it die! For the millions of dollars being spent for an inept coach that when we do win it's by shear frickin accident not by any damn genius plan he put into it. I need to find a better way to involve my energy and life!

Again this is spot on. As a matter of fact this is how jNW and many teams make started to even the playing field with bigger programs. They have spread the field with agile, quick athletes, they run off the defense then dump the ball short to a player who is wide open and gets big YAC. Heck 10 years ago I would watch jNW just have a running back flare out to the sideline and wait for the dump off. If he beats the first tackler he can get 10+ yards otherwise he gets 5 or so yards which is good.

If Akrum goes out of the backfield and he draws a couple of defenders or a shift then great, throw it the other way where you have an advantage.

We all found out how really good Vandy and McCarron were the last couple of years. We have really good TE targets.

Then when the defense starts to creep in to cover these short passes look to take a shot.
