Arizona Game Question?

I am making the trek down to Tucson in Sept, Is anyone on here familiar with Arizona and the layout of the stadium in regards to hotels, bars, resturants ect....I would like to stay as close to the gameday festivities as possible, thoughts and ideas aprreciated!

The stadium is very close to downtown Tucson (not that anything much happens there) but is also near campus. Tailgating will be non-existent as compared to what you see in IC. Yes some grilling, etc. outside of the stadium, but it's really not much more than concrete parking lots, etc. Pretty tame from my perspective.

There are some bars nearby, but it's not going to be spectacular by any means.

I went to the game the last time they played in Tuscon. We parked in a large grass lot area that was close to the basketball arena. It was pretty fun. Lots of Iowa fans. I suggest parking there, or at least going there provided things haven't changed. The bars will be fun if Iowa wins due to the number of Hawk fans in attendance. You will need to take a cab most likely.

I'm considering going down. I read they are only $35, but any word on how hard it will be to get tickets? I know their stadium is pretty tiny and there are probably more Iowa fans in AZ than Arizona fans.

You should be able to get good deals on StubHub.

I bought 8 tickets together for about $50 a piece, thats after all the fees are added in, etc. Be careful though, there are some seats in prime field areas (30-50 yard line) for only like $20-$35 and if you don't read the fine print you'll miss that these seats are directly behind the benches which sounds like are obstructed views.

This is the most expensive ticket for all of Arizona's home games this year, even more than USC!

Did you call their AD ticket office? Stubhub?
I couldn't find online ticket purchases anywhere on their site.

I don't think they're on sale on the Arizona site yet. Stub Hub has them and Ebay has them. I'm not exactly sure when Iowa will release their allotment. I believe the Iowa section is section 17.
