I know this is a hawk board, but lets be honest, this is the best match up all season in college football. #1 vs #2. 1st and 3rd in points allowed, 11/13 points for..

Stylistically, this game has me pumped.

I do too, but Bama could easily win this game, I think their D is better, but the LSU is just top of the top all around. Will be exciting.

Looking forward to the game, already being hyped as The Game of the Century. Should be a good one to watch after the Iowa win over the Wolverines.....

:)

I'm betting poster "SECisCRAP" is super excited about this one

I can't wait to see these two defenses destroy each other's offense. It's gonna be awesome. Everything about College Football that fans love will be shown in this game.

Bama is kind of my second team since I was born in Huntsville. But I see LSU winning by a touchdown.

Expound upon this. . .

The only way that makes any sense at all would be if people were being brainwashed into thinking LSU and 'Bama were crazy good this year by ESPN.

Since it's obvious that they are both that good, he's making a rather foolish argument.

Georgia isn't bad, they have won 6 in a row! (my 2nd favorite team after Iowa)

They've beat six bad teams. They lost to an extremely average South Carolina team and Boise destroyed them in their own back yard. The SEC outside of Bama and LSU is just as down as the B10 this year.

6 bad teams. A win is a win. Yes, they got beat up pretty bad by Boise, but they've gotten better, honestly their D is 10x better than Iowa's right now.

I was going to make a sarcastic post about how Alabama has no chance to win this game, let alone an NC, with their unimaginative, conservative offense and defense. Because that comment has been made many times on this board, comparing their approach to Iowa's.

Then I looked at the stats. They're currently #11 nationally in scoring offense, #1 on defense. Last year, #18 scoring offense. 2009 (NC year), #22 scoring offense. Iowa scoring offense for 2009/2010/2011: #86, #50, #36 .

So... never mind.

Saying their D is better than Iowa's is not impressive, our D is terrible.

Their six wins came against Costal Carolina, an Ole Miss team that is winless in the SEC, Miss St who has won one SEC game and went to OT with Louisiana Tech, a Tennessee team who is winless in the SEC and has only scored in double digits once in their last four games (and that was against Georgia), a one SEC win Vandy and a Florida team who scored four offensive touchdowns the entire month of October.

The conference record of the teams they have beat is 4-24. Sorry I'm not impressed with them at all.
