Hawkeye of the Storm - just too long - not enough subsstance. I admire the guys effort.
Hawkeye 247 with Clough and Eicholt - no thank you. They don't seem to have the depth of knowledge and the articulation lacks
Locked On - they guy is an AM Radio Jock, he just cant help himself. No thanks

I agree. The numbers have definitely winnowed over the years, but I think that has been good attrition. The posters now are a core group and we all seem to get along well enough. We call out the trolls and otherwise try to keep the conversations on point for sports or funny. Both are good.
The Board was a bit sparse over the Summer. I would stop back after a couple days out and not see many new posts. As the season approaches, posts have picked up. Keep it up, boys. I am interested in everyone's thoughts. This could be a really fun season for FB, MBB and WBB.

Pretty much what Ive experienced also, on all three of those. I watched 247 last night and they we're guessing pretty much ,as much anyone on here and kept repeating to use up time. Made me fall asleep lol.

The funny thing is, they all think they are legit journalists. They come from the podcast platform but want the notoriety of being a journalist. Well, now many of them do have access to the teams and pressers, I guess. They've allowed that over the years. I don't even know how they limit that now or if they just let anybody in who applies.
Corey Brada at Hawkeye of the Storm I think can be pretty thin skinned at times. If you make a comment that he doesn't like, he'll come back at with a very juvenile or junior high-like response. I do listen to him and Mark Rogers and appreciate the banter & info Rogers provides, though. He can even be an azz on that podcast at times to.
There is a younger guy who has a show named something very similar to what Mark Rogers calls his. This clown named it something very similar to it to get people to click on his video. He named it very similar to "Iowa At The Voice of College Football". It's hard to tell the two apart. This guy is so monotone and bland I can't stand it and if he pops up instead of Rogers & Brada, I blow out of it right away.
There are just too many of them anymore and it's so watered down. They all just blabber the same stuff and it gets too much, IMO. To most of them, I just want to say "Go get a real job!". Cripes, do something to add value to society.

Now to bump off what I put above and to clarify something a bit.
I do appreciate Chris Williams and what he has done with developing Iowa Everywhere. I do watch their content and podcasts/shows. I can appreciate and can tell he put a lot of thought into his business and sat down and did it the right way. One can tell he identified his goals, set up a defined business plan and developed the paths to complete it and succeed.
It takes work to do it correctly. You have to build relationships and identify team members to achieve the goals. He has done that. He did a great job of marketing Iowa Everywhere and diversified it so it can cover all of Iowa and the teams, instead of just focusing on Iowa State. Brilliant.
Again, I can appreciate his success because I know what it takes to start a small business and the time commitment it takes.
Now, so many others are just flash in the pans that want to make a quick buck or think they are going to hit it big. Something like only 3-5% of podcasters can make a go or career out of it. One would prob have just as good of luck making it on a NFL team. Lol.
