Which ones do you think have good content, or a lot of nothing??
Anybody have a favorite Hawkeye pod cast or one they don't like ??

My favorite is Legends and Listeners with Leistikow and Dochterman. They do a great job and the content is awesome, IMO. I also like the Hawkcentral one with Leistikow and Tyler Tachman. Probably the best overall from an X & O perspective is the ANF Podcast. Those guys might be the best anywhere in breaking down game film and analyzing a game. Not a criticism but they are a little over my head sometimes.
As for ones I don't care for, I'm not crazy about Chis Hassell's podcast. I like him as a reporter but just did not get into the podcast for some reason.

If you are looking for regular and light analysis and timely Hawk news/analysis, LockedOn Hawkeyes with Trent Condon is quick and digestible. He has guests regularly as well and pumps out content most days.

ANF Podcast and it ain't even close.
Can't stand Liestikow and Dochterman, especially when they're together. They've been doing it too long and it's like watching the same VHS movie for the 783rd time on repeat. Those guys are just soooo dull.
Love Hassel, he's not afraid to belittle isu and nebraska at every opportunity.
Tachman is a Dochter-kow in training, same type of January molasses. Wish the kid would've found some different guys to latch onto.

I have two favorites.
I'm channeling my inner Gen Z and cleverly thinking I'm inventing things when I'm just reverse engineering things that already exist.
So, my two favorites are both unrecorded podcasts.
My wife and kids and I who are all Iowa fans sit around a table or sometimes on couches and chairs and talk about Iowa football. Just no microphones or recording.
The other one, I come here and read what you guys say and sometimes respond. I'm so good at it now, I've made up little individual voices for each of you I use in my head when I read your posts. Sometime I'll do an impression. Which won't be very good, because it's just typing and you can't hear anything.
I only have time for murder-y podcasts that are actually recorded. Or those two history dudes from England.

If you have ever watched Matt and Trae doing the voiceovers for South Park, that is what I am now picturing every time I see a dagdaj post. I call Ewen McGregor's voice!!

Damn. I was way off. I was thinking you'd sound like Ravishing Rick Rude.
I'll be honest. I got this one totally wrong. From here forward I will use a different voice. I created in my mind a woman named Clarence Mae Clatterbuck. She raised 6 kids up in a double wide parked up the 'holler' of route 63 just past Coal Run Creek outside Harlan, KY. Her husband shows up in town on Social Security check day to drink in the bar, legit with a rope for a belt holding up his jeans.
That is the voice I will now use for you. The voice of Mrs. Clatterbuck.

Have you been to Big Grove lately or perhaps flushed your problems with Ackerson Plumbing? If you need any legal counseling, just listen to their podcast while your drinking an Athletic beverage and they can push you to Schwebel, Goetz & Sieben, P.A..

But, I do find almost everything I need here to help me flesh out how I'm feeling about the Hawks.

I mean it. I'm pretty sure I started posting here before my middle kid was born. A kid who graduated from Iowa last spring.
Messageboards usually end up sucking because of the posters who don't know how to messageboard without ruining things and moderators who don't know how to moderate without ruining things.
Not here. Perfect blend of nonsense and legit Hawk banter.

Agree. Remember years ago when one first started to message on these things and any neg comment or a comment disagreeing would get under the thin skin leading to a back-and-forth shit show with name calling? After a while, you realize, chit, it's not worth it. Being thin skinned on sports message boards is not your friend.

It's such a great word. It's one of those words that in just 6 letters sums up a really ethereal and hard to describe concept. If the word "timbre" didn't exist, it would take me like 12 paragraphs to describe certain sounds/voices/instruments. It's maybe one of the most efficient words. Like "umami". I mean, I still can't describe "umami". The best I can do is use words like "savory". But what does that even mean? Not sweet? My latest theory is that "umami" is BS. You've got your 4 traditional tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter.
And umami is just a fairly equal combination of those 4 things. AKA Heinz catsup. Or a good KC style BBQ sauce. But again. I digress further into nonsense. We really need some damn football to start up pronto.
