I don't know about that. I get the Idea white is Basabe's height but he is a 3 man since he can shoot from the outside and handles the ball well. I know Fran has been on recored as saying Mel is an Ideal 4 once he fills out some more. I am guessing Fran doesn't belive Mel will ever dribble well enough or shoot the 3pt shot well enough to be a true 3. Mel will be a good enough ball handler with some more work to be able to pull 4s away and dribble drive around them.

Here is my starting line up next year.
