QB: Banks (the votes were really spread out across our 4 top guys)
RB: Greene & Wadley
FB: Ross/Potts/Weisman (not sure, we didn't really vote on that one)
TE: Clark & Moeaki/Fant/Laporta (3-way tie for 2nd TE)
WR: McNutt, DJK, ISM
OT: Gallery and Wirfs
OG: Steinbach and Stephens
OC: Linderbaum

Kind of interesting to think about an All-B1G team over that same period...which of these players could still be considered, and which wouldn't even get a sniff?

I think we could put our OTs, OC, and TEs up against anyone. But you could probably come up with a dozen WRs from OSU alone before you got to McNutt.

Our RBs are solid, but they would be pretty far behind Jonathan Taylor and Saquon Barkley.
 
What’s really crazy is George Kittle had the most success in the NFL of any Iowa tight end but he’s not even in the same zip code as the others when looking at college performance.

I hope Laporta can have a long, healthy NFL career...I think he could eventually give Kittle a run for his money.

One of two Mackey winners (along with Clark). But man, we have had some damn good TEs.

I voted for Fant because he had the most unique skillset of our TEs, and his TDs and ypc were so eye-popping. Kind of like the pitcher who throws 100+ and has a huge whiff-rate...you want that guy on your team.
