Wisconsin will be playing in Carver next season. Will be interesting on that homecoming.
My thoughts exactly. No elite team is gonna look at her video from last season and shell out big bucks, no matter WHAT her ranking was coming out of h.s.
She's going where she'll get 30+ min each game, with a team on the rise, increase her pts/per game, then enter the portal again. Her odds of staying at Wisky for the next 3 seasons? 1 in 20.

So far Deal has not said anything negative about her experience at Iowa. At least as far as I know, other than saying she wanted more playing time. If she sticks to that story, I expect Iowa fans to be polite to her in her return.
But no doubt Deal will be fired up every time she goes up against Iowa. If Mallegni goes there too, its going to be a nightmare every time Iowa plays Wisconsin because they will have 2 players holding a grudge.

I expect a warm welcome from the Hawk fans. The game will be intense I imagine. I would think it'd be hard for Addie hearing all those fans cheering against her. After all Iowa is where she wanted to be from very early on. That's why this is a head scratcher move to me. Should be a fun game!

Deal is a bit of surprise to me. Guessing plenty of $ and guaranteed mins.
Either way … expect ( and look forward to ) Hawks rubbing their noses in their decision.

Remember her brother plays at Grinnell and her parents moved to Iowa City.

She had an up and down freshman campaign. But, you can see the talent. She is going to score 20 a night for the Badgers. She probably would have come off the bench at Iowa. It is what it is.

Even more baffling. My gawd, she was pretty much ensured she was going to get more minutes at Iowa next season. These young people just don't have any patience anymore, especially if they have been the stud on every team since 8U.

I think the parents had a big say so in this. Pushy! It has the same scenario as the Guyton situation of last year. Her dad was a pain and I'm sure it was his idea to move on.

Maybe BF didn't sit well with the parents. Wisconsin is a stepping stone for Addie. Expect her to be in the portal next year also.
I am not sure...Guyton got booed, and this is pretty much the exact same scenario.
If UNI played here, everyone would cheer Levin, because we understand her situation: she wasn't going to play 10+ minutes at Iowa. And she showed a ton of passion for the Hawkeyes when she was here.
Addie played 15 min/game, she was B1G all-freshman, and she would have been relied on heavily next year. Her leaving for greener pastures* will not sit well with many fans.
* - We really don't know what went into her decision to leave, she might have been encouraged to do so for all we know. But lacking specific information, most will assume she wanted more playing time, more money, or both.
