Sorry it has been a long couple of years being a Hawkeye BB fan, and I'm going to enjoy this win the entire off-season! Congrats Fran and players the magic is coming back. Really happy for Gatens, he has taken way too much abuse on this forum, he has done everything the coaches have asked him and I'm hoping he has a breakout senior season.

I like the enthusiasm, but here would be my top combos heading into next season:
1. Morris/Hardaway Jr
2. Taylor/Gasser
3. Cartwright/Gatens
However, if Cezar commits, does he start and Iowa goes with a three guard lineup with Cezar/Cartwright/Gatens? Obviously, Fran isn't afraid to start any freshman.

Do you think Taylor will still be around? He has one of hell of a season.

I think Morris and Hardaway Jr. is the best guard combo in the conference, probably even up there in the country. But I would say that Cartwright and Gatens is a close second in the conference.

Wow.. how bad is the Big 10 if those are the best three backcourts..

1. Morris/Hardaway Jr
2. Taylor/Gasser
3. Cartwright/Gatens

Thats 1 maybe 2 guys who will make the NBA

Big Ten is slowly getting to the point of having better guards, but for as long as I can remember, the bigs have always been the must successful in the Big Ten. I agree that only a couple of those players make it to the NBA, and it might be that both of those players come from Michigan, as much as it hurts me to say that.
