hes injured(Schlatter)....hes defaulting out but to get a wild card for nationals I think you have to take the mat at least

Actually after looking at the matchups I am pretty happy we got those. Great opportunity for extra bonus points that you can't get with a bye. The only down side is that it could make you a little more tired, but looks like they should be able to get them done easily and pick up extra points.

If you win the next match you do. So if you get a bye the first round, win the second round you get 2 advancement points. But you can't earn any bonus points for the first round. If you have a match the first round and get a pin, you can get 3 points instead of just 1.

Looking at these it is very possible Iowa could have all 10 guys in the finals but I think they will have at least 7 as I could see Dennis getting beat by Gomez, Star getting beat by Sponseller, and who knows how Beatty can respond after a 2 month layoff. I really think Keddy will also make the finals as well.

I like all of Iowa's draws. Dennis probably has the toughest...but that's just 133 it's stacked. I was really hoping Janssen would get the nod, I like his style much more then Kerr's but Tom is the best coach in the nation so I will defer to him.
