First time going to a game at Northwestern. Any suggestions on what bars Hawk fans gather on Friday night? Does the Chicago I Club have anything organized? I couldn't find any information on their website.

We have always stayed downtown at the Marriott but the prices for the hotels downtown are really high this year (Marriott is $349 - we have never paid more than $149 ). In the past a poster from this site has setup a block of rooms under the name Hawkeye Nation, which saved us a lot of money...

A night all Nighthawks will remember I was at this game and I will admit this is one of the most touching things I have ever witnessed. I knew his father and I can't think of a better tribute to him and his family.

I saw two recruits being escorted around the stadium Saturday. I would think we would have made a great impression.

Watching the game last week I thought he was a beast. He was relentless on his run blocking and kept hitting and moving people till the whistle. I can't help but think his daily match up with AC is going to make him that much better.

I am pumped, I just locked up some hotel rooms in Lincoln for the game next year. I couldn't book them online or by phone, so I went through a local travel agency. If anyone is thinking about getting rooms I would suggest you book them as soon as possible.
